Finmeccanica, through its Helicopter Division, recognized Era Group Inc.’s major operational milestone with the achievement of 100,000 flight hours operating its AgustaWestland AW139 fleet and 125,000 flight hours logged across its entire AW139 fleet, including AW139s leased to other operators.
The flight hour milestone is atrributed to the joint commitement to safety and continuing collaborative support between Finmeccanica Helicopter Division and Era, resulting in Era’s strong operational record and high aircraft availability across its fleet.
In addition to the 38 AW139s in Era’s fleet, Era recently added its first two AW189 helicopters. Era operates and leases the aircraft in support of offshore, search and rescue, and EMS operations.
