A small UK-based electronics company have developed a product that will negate the use of multiple antennas in any transport configuration, and will be especially useful for aviators. RPF Technical Services Ltd, are proud to announce the launch of the GPS Distribution Amplifier.

Multiple GPS systems are being utilised in cockpits by an increasing number of companies and individuals. This leads to the need for multiple antennas to be placed either in the cockpit or, more often, on the precious space of the aircraft fuselage. This uniquely designed and easily installed piece of kit will allow the use of up to four GPS receivers sharing only one active antenna. This device is powered from one of the connected receivers and still allows power to the antenna.  It is robust and compact and has been built primarily for helicopters and aircraft but can be utilised for all types of mobile communications. Furthermore, it is sealed to IP66 standards.

Other configurations available by special order are 2-way, 6-way and 8-way.

A spokesperson for the Company stated that they are excited about this latest product, especially as the idea was borne from a chance remark made by a helicopter pilot. For more information, please visit: www.rpftech.co.uk.
