S.A.F.E. Structure Designs, a leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of ergonomic safety-first aircraft maintenance stands, fall protection platforms, hangar equipment, portable field equipment and specialty tooling, has announced the successful completion of the Stage 1 ISO 9001:2015 Audit.
While many companies can manufacture a product and sell it, few of them are ISO certified which ensures a company’s quality of products and services. Being a top manufacturer of ergonomically safe, custom-built aviation maintenance stands, platforms and equipment to such customers as the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, and numerous police forces throughout the country, president and CEO Johnny Buscema recognized the importance of possessing such a certification.
S.A.F.E. Structure has spent the past 12 months working alongside Core Consulting, scrutinizing all levels of management, working to control all of its internal business practices. With Stage 1 of the ISO 9001:2015 Audit completed, S.A.F.E.’s focus is to continue improving every area of business whether it be in its key processes, vendor performance, internal audits, traceability, quality control, or customer service.
With an ISO certification, S.A.F.E.’s credibility will go unmatched against its competitors and continue to be one of the most competitive bidders to the aviation, marine, railroad, and industrial industries around the world.
“We feel it’s important for S.A.F.E. to have the most stringent quality control and business practice system in place to assure that our customers are getting the best products on the market,” said Buscema. “We want our customers to be assured that we put every effort into their safety and efficiency when depending on us for their most critical projects.” In the upcoming months S.A.F.E. Structure hopes to complete a Stage 2 audit, before going in front of the ISO board, and receive its ISO certification by the end of the year.
Way to go! This takes dedication and a “compliance driven” attitude.
