Intermarket Insurance Introduces AV-TEC Equipment Maintenance Management Solutions

Intermarket Insurance Agency today announced the introduction of AV-TEC Equipment Maintenance Management Solutions, a unique and innovative program to control and more effectively manage the costs associated with maintaining avionics equipment. “AV-TEC provides aircraft owners the ability to control previously volatile avionics maintenance expenses,” stated Anthony Giaccone, President of Intermarket Insurance. “AV-TEC enables customers to budget for these costs with no change in the quality and timeliness of their service.”

The repair and maintenance of avionics equipment is a major expense in ongoing aircraft operations. Moreover, costs vary dramatically from year to year, making accurate planning for these expenditures extremely difficult.  AV-TEC helps resolve these issues by charging its customers a set annual fee to cover all repair, service, and preventative maintenance (PM). When a device covered by AV-TEC requires maintenance, the customer contacts the vendor of their choice to arrange service . Once the service has been completed, the customer sends a copy of the service report and invoice to the program administrator, who per the customer’s preference either reimburses the owner of the aircraft or pays the service provider directly.
