ACROHELIPRO Global Services Inc (a Vector Aerospace Company) Sagem Avionics Inc (SAGEM) and FDC Aerofilter are excited to announce that with the cooperation of Mr. George Kelham, president of Slave Lake Helicopters, they will profile Kelham’s recently ACROHELIPRO-upgraded Eurocopter AS350-B2 at HAI 2008.

Kelham’s helicopter profiles the latest advances in helicopter technology that provide increased performance, safety and reliability; including the integration of the industry-leading SAGEM/ACROHELIPRO glass cockpit solution utilizing the Eagle Helicopters’ AS350 STC. Kelham’s aircraft is the first glass cockpit integration in a Turbomeca engine equipped AS350 in Canada, which also features the new FDC filter installation. The helicopter will be on display at FDC Aerofilter’s booth (# 537).

Kelham, ACROHELIPRO and SAGEM are excited to jointly participate in the world’s largest helicopter event as it allows them to profile the industry-leading glass cockpit display system, which ACROHELIPRO and SAGEM are successfully making more widely-available to helicopter operators in North America, and around the globe.

Since the exciting launch of the system at HAI 2007, ACROHELIPRO and SAGEM have made the cutting-edge technology which offers distinct advantages including enhanced performance and reliability, superior quality and reduced operating costs, available on a variety of platforms including:

  • Bell 205 series / Bell 206 series / Eagle 212 / Bell 407 / Sikorsky S61 / Eurocopter AS350 / Robinson R44 and the MD500.

A variety of glass cockpit installations will be on display at HAI 2008, including a recently outfitted LAPD Bell 206 and an interactive cockpit simulator/display featuring glass installations for the Sikorsky S61, Bell 205 and Bell 212 models at ACROHELIPRO’s booth (#2843-Vector). As well, Sagem Avionics will exhibit an LAPD AS350 with dual glass installation, and a Bell 206 at their booth (#413)

This dynamic expansion of the glass cockpit product line is a direct result of the combined resources of two industry-leaders; offering operators the advantage of SAGEM’s world-class avionics solution and ACROHELIPRO’s expertise experience and derived from successfully developing Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) and performing in excess of 460 installations, upgrades and legacy retro-fits in a variety of helicopter platforms.
