Sagem Avionics, Inc. is pleased to announce that Avio Corp in So Paulo Brazil has begun the preparations for the installation and certification of the SAGEM ICDS glass cockpit solution for an EC130 B4 in So Paulo, Brazil. The Helicopter will be second installation of the ICDS system in Brazil following the EC120 currently being modified which will be used as a demonstrator aircfaft. The retrofit application will include an ICDS-8 (Integrated Cockpit Display System) configured as PFD (Primary Flight Display). The installation will also be the first SAGEM glass on an EC130 B4; a platform for which Sagem Avionics Inc already provides an autopilot solution.
