Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced that Helicopter Flight Services, Inc., of New York, N.Y., is adding two additional Bell model 407 helicopters to its fleet.

These two new 407s will join two other 407s that the company took delivery of last fall, and a pre-owned 407 that the company acquired just last month.

“The response to the 407 has been fantastic”, said John Kjekstad, Vice-President and Director of Operations at Helicopter Flight Services. “It’s a fast and smooth aircraft that truly is the sports car of helicopters. Economically, it is the right solution for the market.”

“We have the only 407 available for charter in the New York City area and my clients just love the aircraft,” added Kjekstad. “It provides the luxury and speed the business traveler and executive is seeking, and at the right charter price. It just makes sense.”

Helicopter Flight Services operates out of the Downtown Manhattan Heliport, also known as the Wall Street Heliport. They have been operating in the New York area for 20 years, offering charter service and tours of New York City, as well as flight training and aerial photography.
