The Global Urban Air Summit has a new official media partner in eVTOL.com.
Scheduled for Sept. 3 and 4 in Farnborough, U.K., on the site of the biennial Farnborough International Airshow, the inaugural summit will bring together regulators and industry representatives to address global challenges in urban air mobility.
According to Farnborough International’s chief commercial and partnerships officer, Amanda Stainer, “We have always sought to ensure that the Farnborough International Airshow serves as a platform for aerospace innovation and now we are broadening our reach to create and deliver a year-round program of events. It’s entirely fitting that our first is focused on future technology.
“The Global Urban Air Summit will be a content-rich conference which involves industry, government, regulators, academia, and finance in a way that has never been done before. We’re confident it will be a pivotal event for the industry.”
Over two days, the summit will address a broad range of topics related to eVTOL aircraft and urban air mobility, including infrastructure, the operational environment, innovation in vehicles and battery systems, and finance and investment. Speakers include representatives from government agencies such as the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, U.K. Civil Aviation Authority, and Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, as well as companies that are driving innovation in the field, including Airbus, Boeing, Uber, Volocopter, and many others.
“One of our primary goals with eVTOL.com is to foster productive, practical discussions around the opportunities and challenges associated with eVTOL aircraft and urban air mobility,” said MHM Publishing owner Mike Reyno, publisher of eVTOL.com as well as Vertical and Skies magazines. “The Global Urban Air Summit aligns perfectly with that mission and we’re proud to help promote it to a wider audience.”
