Sacramento, California April 2, 2012 -FDC/aerofilter announces a new Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the EC-135 inlet barrier filter system (IBF).  FDC confirms strong demand for the system as two large fleet operators are set to become FDCs inaugural customers in Europe.
The advanced lightweight filtration system has already experienced extensive demand in the U.S. market with premier fleet operator Air Methods as FDCs launch customer.  The advanced system is also protecting fleet operators in Brazil, India, Australia and South Korea.
The FDC EC-135 IBF system is a light weight highly efficient inlet filtration system designed for ease of installation and features a filter heath monitor.  Operators of the system utilize the aircrafts basic performance charts.  Cleaning intervals of the system are tailored to correspond with an operators maintenance routine and the filter has no set filter life.
