Asia Pacific Aerospace (APA) has announced Trans Bharat as its in-country representative for India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

This partnership with Trans Bharat is a continuation of APA’s commitment to support the Rolls-Royce M250/RR300 engine network in South Asia.

Trans Bharat Aviation now offers APA’s capabilities of engine MRO services, including rental, exchange or outright purchase, providing operators in South Asia with a direct gateway to APA.

APA is the sole Rolls-Royce authorised maintenance repair and overhaul centre (AMROC) in the Asia-Pacific Region, meaning this partnership marks the first time APA’s capabilities are made available through a reputable company directly into South Asia.

“We have found the Trans Bharat Aviation team to be dedicated and enthusiastic in supporting the M250/RR300 network, which is crucial for our combined customer base,” said Tony Cotroneo, general manager of APA.

“Trans Bharat’s reputation in supporting helicopter maintenance is outstanding and from the minute our companies first met, it was an easy decision to sign up the Trans Bharat team.”

Direct access to these services is the first phase of the partnership, with plans to further expand in-country support for operators using M250/RR300 engines. Both APA and Trans Bharat Aviation share this mission to better service in the region’s market and minimize downtime for operators through a strengthened supply chain and MRO solutions.

Trans Bharat is poised to become India’s inaugural authorized service center for RR250 and 300 engines, catering to customers not only in India but also in neighbouring countries such as Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Siddharth Shankaran, the CEO of Trans Bharat Aviation, emphasizes the necessity of commitment and transparency for customers, aligning seamlessly with both entities.

In this strategic partnership, the collaboration between the two companies ensures efficient and effective support for customer requirements, promoting quality-driven work with minimized downtime.

The concept of the authorized service center (ASC) is meticulously designed, allowing operators to optimally utilize helicopters for their intended purpose – to keep flying.

This pioneering initiative opens up multiple options for the rental, exchange, and supply chain of spare parts in the steadily growing market of these regions. Moreover, on-site assistance is readily available to meet the diverse work requirements. The partnership between AMROC (APA) and TBA is committed to addressing all customer needs and fostering efficient business growth.

The partnership between APA and Trans Bharat Aviation has already commenced, meaning operators using M250/RR300 engines can now contact Trans Bharat Aviation for MRO services on their M250/RR300 requirements.
