Job Description

The Supply Department Manager analyzes and coordinates the logistical functions of Pathfinder Aviation. Employee leads the supply process including but not limited to shipping/receiving, acquisition/distribution, and monitoring/maintaining the life cycle of a product. The Manager is responsible for the timely communication of shipping delays or unavailability of products to the party requesting items.
Essential Functions

Direct the receipt, ordering, and distribution of all materials; consumables, expendables, rotatable, and tooling.
Inform the maintenance department of supply chain issues, availability, and timeline of parts and tools, advising immediately when delays occur.
Oversee and manage all purchase, shipping, and repair orders.
Direct the acquisition and distribution of office supplies.
Verify shipments against purchase orders and examine them upon arrival.
Prepare items for shipment to various company locations and/or return them to the supplier.
Maintain and create record-keeping systems.
Maintain and improve current company shipping and receiving procedures.
Develop an understanding of company needs and take action to ensure that such needs are met.
Report project plans, progress, and results to the management team and CEO.
Direct team activities by establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
Assist the Finance department with invoicing for items sold to third parties.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to read, interpret, and implement the safety items included in the Employee HSE manual.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position at 40 hours per week with occasional on-call hours as needed. Department operates 7 days a week but hours worked are consecutive and based on a fixed schedule.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises the Logistics Specialist, Material Handler, and Purchasing Agent positions as well as supply department contractors.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Driverrsquo;s License
Minimum of three years of experience in an aviation-related field. Helicopter operations preferred

Preferred Education and Experience

Two (2) years of experience in inventory/quality control
Project Management
RAMCO software experience
FAA License (pilot, A P mechanic)
Rotor-wing knowledge, specific for Bell and Airbus platforms.

Other Duties

Responsible for maintaining fuel system inventory at the Anchorage hangar.
