Job Description

A large, aggressive multi-certificate aviation/air carrier company is looking for a Director of Maintenance for their recently acquired Part 135 Air Carrier and Tour Operation in Arizona. The organization has fixed and rotary wing operations that include turbine rotorcraft, single and multi-engine fixed-wing piston and turbine aircraft. The organization is continuously acquiring aircraft, certificates, and locations. The organization has large hangar facilities, parts rooms, and offices. The Director of Maintenance will serve as a member of the 119 management team on the Part 135 certificates. The candidate will reside full-time in Page, Arizona, with a primary Base of Maintenance at the Page Arizona Airport, a Part 139 facility. The candidate will also hold an Inspection Authorization certification, or be eligible and willing to acquire an IA and be able to manage A Ps, mechanics, and other line staff. There will be occasional travel to other locations. Additionally, the new Director of Maintenance will have the opportunity to develop and manage a Part 145 Repair Station, and the right person will have the opportunity to be a partner in the repair station activities. Fixed-wing piston experience is mandatory. Turbine experience and rotorcraft are a plus.
