Skills and Qualifications: Must be familiar with using test equipment for track and balance. Interpreting Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for application on helicopters. Familiar with using measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, tensiometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes. 3+ yearsrsquo; experience as a helicopter mechanic, with at least 2 years on designated helicopters (Airbus ndash; AS350, EC130, EC135, EC145, BK117; Agusta ndash;109, 119, 139, 169; Bell ndash; 206, 407, 429, 412; MD ndash; 500). Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Familiarity with aviation maintenance manuals. Must have your own tools. Airframe Powerplant license. REQUIRED Inspection and Authorization License. PREFERRED Any OEM school training within the past 4 years. Experience working on civilian, commercial and military helicopter. The Technician must be familiar with researching and using information from the appropriate maintenance manual, wiring diagrams, or FAA documentation to perform the necessary tasks to maintain the aircraft in airworthy condition. Available to travel as needed. Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Competencies: Good communication skills. Willing to learn new job skills. Problem-solving and critical thinking. Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the A P Helicopter Maintenance Technician maintains the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on compliance with the FAA as part of a team of technicians for a safe and successful mission by keeping the work scope on track , on budget and in compliance with the FAA rules and regulations.
Responsibilities

Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or applicable regulatory body.
Perform routine maintenance checks and perform diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions.
Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.

Document and record maintenance functions in an FAA approved records format.

Keeping detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft in accordance with the repair station guidelines.

Ensure work schedule and return to service dates are on time.

Evaluate the services offered by the organization with the aim of continuously improving the quality of products and services.
Inventory aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment, and keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and other maintenance operations.
Complete tasks within allotted time frames and to FAA (or equivalent) and company standards.
Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating smoothly.
Communicate with DOM any issues as they arise.
