“Our team at QAI Aviation did incredible work on this aircraft completion,” said QAI president Robert Sieber. “We appreciate Life Flight Network entrusting us with their business. This completion was done with STC [supplemental type certificate] kit installations, new avionics additions, complete aircraft paint and an all-new medical interior kit.”

QAI installed various complex avionics systems during the Bell 407GXi completion, which included night vision imaging system (NVIS) upgrades to custom fabricated scene lighting and many airframe modifications. A state-of-the-art Spectrum Aeromed EMS interior and equipment STC was incorporated in this completion, including the cabin and crew seat recovering and upholstery with the LFN logo.

The additional avionics package installed in this EMS aircraft includes a Sky Connect system with remote MMU in the cabin, PAC 45 audio system, Weather Link, traffic avoidance system, Garmin GTS 800, Technisonic TDFM 9100 with RC in the cabin, steerable searchlight system, Artex ELT, TANIS heating system dual USB ports, Shore Power, Tel-Tail lighting, and Aerodynamix NVIS.

“Our team of technicians were able to integrate new innovative technology seamlessly into this green aircraft. Our experienced team, dealer agreements, and capabilities empower us to complete installations inside and outside the aircraft. Whether a customer has a green aircraft, an older aircraft that needs to be upgraded, or maintenance requirements ranging from routine to heavy, our team at QAI can help,” said Sieber.
