Bell Textron Inc. has been awarded a $22.5-million firm-fixed-price, undefinitized order via the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), against a previously issued basic ordering agreement.

This order provides up to 24 months of in-country aircraft maintenance for eight Bell UH-1Y and four Bell AH-1Z helicopters, and up to 36 months of in-country contractor engineering services for the government of the Czech Republic.

Work will be performed in the Czech Republic, and is expected to be completed in July 2026.

Foreign Military Sales funds in the amount of $11 million will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year, the DoD said in a statement.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
