“As an MD Helicopters Authorized Service Center, Thoroughbred Aviation Maintenance is a key player in our work to strengthen and expand support for our customers,” Kessler says. “Thoroughbred Aviation has a long history of maintenance excellence and does a tremendous job of providing high quality, reliable service for MD owners and operators. Paired with MD’s boosted customer support and spares in stock, Thoroughbred’s new facility will enhance the overall customer experience.”

The new facility is a consolidation and expansion of the existing property combining helicopter operations from the Georgetown facility. The new space includes additional hangar space, office facilities, and parts storage.

“As an Authorized MD Helicopters Service Center for over 33 years, their product line is a large part of our customer base and we truly appreciate their support and participation in our ceremony,” stated vice president and owner, Joe Otte. “We look forward to continuing our relationship with MD and to help our customers experience an increase in service and reduced down times.”
