WinAir, a leader in aviation maintenance software, has announced the company has been chosen as the winner of the London Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Year award.
On March 22, WinAir was presented with the award during the London Business Achievement Awards gala celebration in London, Ontario. Members of the WinAir team who were in attendance at the event were overjoyed to hear WinAir’s name announced from the podium as the winner in their class.
WinAir commercial manager, Kyle Vergeer, accepted the award on behalf of the company. During his speech, Vergeer expressed his gratitude to the business community for having recognized WinAir as the recipient the Business of the Year award.
He also described the company’s commitment and devotion to its team and clientele. In addition to the award being a monumental occasion for WinAir’s ownership and its employees, WinAir’s win in the Business of the Year category marks the first time an aviation management software company has received this designation. Not only that, but it is also the first time that a company from the aviation industry has been bestowed this award.
“Our entire team at WinAir is ecstatic about winning the 2018 Business of the Year Award,” said Vergeer. “It could not have come at a more opportune time, as this year is our 30th anniversary of WinAir. We are honored to receive this award and are extremely thankful to the entire London business community for their recognition of our company and its achievements.”
