Volatus Infrastructure, LLC and AIR have established a partnership making Volatus one of AIR’s strategic partners for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) infrastructure and charging. This agreement allows AIR’s customers to utilize Volatus vertiports. AIR will also be overseeing business development for Volatus in Israel to help establish the local eVTOL infrastructure ecosystem.
“The more vehicle manufacturers like AIR that we can work with the faster the industry will achieve standardization,” said Grant Fisk, Volatus Infrastructure Co-Founder. “Working with a vehicle manufacturer such as AIR that has the same vision for the foundation of this industry really allows us to continue our actionable plan of bringing eVTOL transportation into today’s market.”
AIR has over 200 preorders for its AIR ONE vehicle in the United States with most customers residing in more rural areas. AIR and Volatus have a joint vision of connecting hard to reach communities, transforming the way people move and utilizing their products for emergency and humanitarian efforts.
“Ensuring access to infrastructure for AIR customers in rural areas is a priority of ours that Volatus will play a significant role in helping us achieve,” said Rani Plaut, AIR CEO and Co-Founder. “We believe that industry collaboration is vital to the realization and acceptance of AAM around the world and we look forward to building as many relationships as we can.”
AIR is empowering the adoption of personal eVTOL flight, a new segment of advanced air mobility (AAM) set to take effect at massive scale. The AIR ONE, AIR’s inaugural two-seater eVTOL, represents the next wave of personal transportation, offering the average person the ability to “drive in the sky,” and offering a solution to some of society’s most pressing transportation woes.
Founded in 2021, Volatus Infrastructure, LLC is connecting communities to the future with best- in-class eVTOL infrastructure technology to ensure society is ready for the future. Volatus offers three main eVTOL infrastructure designs, a vehicle agnostic charging station, plus an app and maintenance programs.
