Vertical Plus’s 2026 Helicopter and Engine Manufacturers Survey is now open and accepting responses through May 29.
The survey is open to anyone in the global civil helicopter industry who has actively operated, flown, or maintained helicopters or helicopter engines in the past two years.
Now in its 12th year, the survey is the industry’s most comprehensive of its kind, giving pilots, mechanics, operators, and MROs the direct opportunity to evaluate airframe and engine manufacturers on the quality of their products, support, and aftermarket services. It is developed by Vertical with input from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to understand the real-world needs of OEM customers and deliver the data OEMs need to address the issues that have the greatest impact on operations.
Honest feedback from respondents helps shape the future of the industry by enabling OEMs to refine their products, improve support services, and better align their strategies with the priorities of the customers who depend on them. Last year, more than 900 helicopter industry professionals completed the survey.
“This survey is about strengthening the relationship between OEMs and their customers,” said Mike Reyno, publisher and owner of Vertical Plus. “By anonymously sharing candid feedback from their real-world experiences, respondents take an active role in helping OEMs know what they’re doing well and areas where they can improve. We know through our collaboration with the OEMs that they regularly use the survey’s results when refining their strategies.”
The survey is conducted by PMG Intelligence, an independent market research and data analysis company based in Waterloo, Ontario. All survey data remains anonymous, and Vertical will not contact respondents without their express permission.
As a thank you for participating in the 2026 Helicopter and Engine Manufacturers Survey, respondents can enter a random draw for a chance to win one of three $200 Visa gift cards.
