In response to growth and expansion Turbomeca USA appoints a new Director of Quality for its Grand Prairie, Texas based facility.
Marcus D. Woodle is appointed to the position of Director, Quality and replaces the former Director, Philippe Painchaut.
Marcus is an accomplished graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce University where he earned 3 degrees, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and a Master’s degree in Agronomy. His extensive background includes aerospace and automotive manufacturing management of Quality systems, assurance, safety and training.
Russ Spray, President and CEO of Turbomeca USA, adds,”Marcus will bring to TMUSA a strong level of experience in manufacturing quality control and a working knowledge of US industrial capacity that is vital to the success of Turbomeca’s Arriel Americanization program and our new responsibility for overseeing the global procurement and quality assurance of critical components for the Turbomeca Group”.
Turbomeca USA, established in 1980, began with just 5 employees. Today, Turbomeca USA has over 260 employees, supports approximately 1,500 engines and over 500 customers in the United States, Mexico and Central America.
