S.A.F.E. Structure Designs has completed the delivery of a custom BK117 maintenance stand for Yellowhead Helicopters in Canada that meets their operational needs in a challenging environment.

This Safety First lightweight ergonomic stand can be disassembled and stored in a shed and then easily reassembled by just one technician, even in the snow.  The technician can carry each piece and erect the stand next to the helicopter in extreme weather conditions.

This custom stand provides the technician with SAFE access to all areas of their BK117 aircraft.  The stand is equipped with the latest features including enhanced safety handrails, and exact working heights to increase comfort and efficiency.

The BK117 stand provides a large work platform for added safety and will be used for both routine and unscheduled maintenance.
