Vertical MRO is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the inaugural Vertical MRO Conference in Kelowna, British Columbia — the first of two conferences presented by Vertical, dedicated exclusively to advancing the rotorcraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector.

The Kelowna conference is to be held at the state-of-the-art KF Centre for Excellence from Oct. 7 to 9, while a second conference will follow in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area at the Irving Convention Center from Nov. 10 to 12.

These conferences are unlike anything the industry has seen before. The Vertical MRO Conferences are highly focused events designed exclusively for rotorcraft MRO professionals, with a rich mix of interactive education sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities — plus a wide-ranging exhibit area and skills competition. Attendees can also look forward to hands-on training sessions at local hangars following the Kelowna conference on Oct. 10.

Early-bird registration for the Kelowna conference is available now at $299 per person, with a special discounted rate of $199 for groups of 10 or more. After Aug. 4, if space remains, registration increases to $349.

Discounted room rates will be available at the Four Points by Sheraton and Hampton Inn & Suites hotels at Kelowna airport upon registration.

Rotorcraft maintenance students and apprentices may register for the Kelowna conference for free. Those interested may contact Leslie Ferry (Leslie.ferry@mhmpub.com) for a registration code.

“This is not just another industry event; it’s an experience designed from the ground up to put the MRO sector front and center — something that has never been done before at this scale,” said Linda Reyno, co-owner of MHM Publishing and Vertical MRO. “Whether you’re a seasoned technician or the next generation of rotorcraft talent, everyone will find value in this conference.”

Highlights of the Kelowna Vertical MRO Conference:

  • Education sessions on key topics like Human Factors, HUMS, Rotor Track & Balance, Advanced Helicopter Systems, and more. Most education sessions will be eligible for Transport Canada recurrent training and FAA Inspection Authorization renewal credit.
  • Panel discussions addressing emerging technologies, entry into helicopter maintenance, workforce generational dynamics, and more.
  • Exhibit displays from over 40 companies in the rotorcraft MRO space.
  • Networking opportunities with OEMs, suppliers, employers, and other professionals in the sector.
  • Job fair-style interaction with “We’re Hiring” exhibitor identifiers to connect students and job seekers with potential employers.
