Precision Helicopters acquires Eurocopter AS350D2

Precision Helicopters Inc. of Grande Prairie Alberta has recently acquired a Eurocopter AS350D2 from Eagle Helicopters of Spokane Washington.

The D2 comes equipped with the first Sagem Integrated Cockpit Display System (ICDS) series Engine Management System (EMS) and Primary Flight Display (PFD) glass screen cockpit in Canada. The screens are also linked with a Bendix King KLX135A GPS/com moving map display. Precision owner John Carlton says,

“This is a very user friendly system that enhances cockpit management and keeps us moving forward with new developments in avionics.” Also, in response to customer requirements Precision Helicopters have installed Latitude Technologies Skynode GPS tracking systems in all their helicopters.
