Oceania Aviation launches new website and brand refresh

Oceania Aviation Press Release | June 13, 2021

Estimated reading time 5 minutes, 2 seconds.

Major MRO provider Oceania Aviation has just unveiled its redesigned website (oceania-aviation.com), alongside a significant refresh to its brand logo, colors and design elements. These changes mark the start of a fresh new chapter for the MRO business, which has been providing a wide range of aftermarket support as well as aircraft and parts sales to the global aviation industry for almost 30 years now. Greg Edmonds, CEO of Oceania Aviation’s parent company Salus Aviation, says “2020 was a year of significant change for the Oceania Aviation business. From the effects of COVID-19 on our operations, to a significant leadership restructure and changes to our New Zealand engineering bases, we feel that 2021 is the right time to refresh and improve our presence within the aviation industry. We have a number of major updates in the pipeline in terms of new partnerships, products, facilities and capabilities – and our new branding and website is a great representation of our business’s more innovative, technologically advanced approach to the next five years. We have extremely ambitious goals both locally and globally to change the game in the aviation market, providing a better customer experience and more comprehensive and tailored MRO solutions to our global network.”

The refreshed but still very familiar Oceania Aviation brand has gone through a major color change and design refinement, replacing their old orange and black scheme with a blue and gold color palette that more closely fits with Salus Aviation and updates the look and feel of the brand to reflect the group’s ethos of ‘Excellence at Altitude’. The logo remains similar to its predecessor, with the same familiar “O” favicon and lettering, but in a new stacked format and with the brand’s new blue color included. The business has elected to keep their well-known helicopter and fixed wing icons as part of the brand thanks to overwhelmingly positive feedback from staff and customers, but these have adopted the new blue and gold brand colors.

Oceania’s new, modernized website features a range of visual and technical enhancements, including a new Parts Search tool (which allows users to search Oceania’s entire parts inventory), an easier and more targeted contact functionality, and a much greater level of information around the business’s MRO services, OEMs and capabilities. Their Aircraft Sales pages, which are already an extremely popular area of the previous website, are now much easier to navigate with clear features, contact details and direct links to each aircraft’s detailed specification documents. Says Liv Lewis-Long, the Salus Aviation group’s Head of Marketing: “We are incredibly proud of what will be a hugely improved website experience for our customers. This is the result of several months of hard work from a lot of staff and partners of the business and we are very happy with the improved browsing experience.”

Oceania Aviation will be showcasing their new brand for the very first time at the ROTORTECH tradeshow which is on week in Brisbane, Australia, with their special display Cargo Pod skinned in the new brand design and their delegates in the new company uniforms. As a major industry sponsor of ROTORTECH, they’ll also have the new logo displayed throughout the convention center and on all show collateral. And even more exciting for ROTORTECH attendees, their Cargo Pod is available to buy at a very special “Show Price” until the close of the event.
