NHIndustries (NHI) has officially opened its Lumière Building, dedicated to the NH90 helicopter program.
NHI is a joint venture between Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo Helicopters, and Fokker Aerostructures, and based in Aix-en-Provence, France.
“This new headquarters shows the commitment of NHI and its partner companies to invest in and support the NH90 program over the next decades,” said Axel Aloccio, president of NHI.
“The new building has been designed as a tool at the service of the entire NH90 community, with the target to foster collaboration across the teams and to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.”
Several dignitaries attended the event, including Michael Kohlhaas, general manager of the NATO Helicopter Design and Development Production and Logistics Management Agency (NAHEMA).
Kohlhaas congratulated NHI in remarks at the ceremony, and said he is, “looking forward to working with the NHIndustries teams to further strengthen the NH90 program, based on a common and shared vision and meet the expectations of the NH90 nations.”
