Maverick Aviation Group has announced the company has been honored with two 2019 Best of Las Vegas Awards, presented by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Maverick Helicopters won gold for Best Helicopter Tour, and Maverick Airlines also won gold for Best Airline/Charter.
Maverick Helicopters operates award-winning service in Las Vegas, Grand Canyon South Rim, Grand Canyon West Rim, Maui, and Kauai and flies over 250,000 guests annually. Maverick Airlines offers excursions to the Grand Canyon West Rim and Grand Canyon South Rim from the Las Vegas Valley.

Each year, the Las Vegas Review-Journal presents the Best of Las Vegas Awards. This year marks the 38th edition. Nominations are held in June and include 321 categories. Throughout the month of August, the voting period was open online to all readers. According to Best of Las Vegas, over 9.4 million votes were received this year from North America, Asia, Europe, Oceania, South America and Africa. Of the 2,559 companies competing, the audience selected 658 companies to win.
