LifeFlight has received national recognition for its aeromedical excellence, taking home the EMS (Emergency Medical Service) Business of the Year award at the prestigious Australian Aviation Awards in Sydney.
The award follows a milestone year for LifeFlight, with the organization recently celebrating helping more than 100,000 people since its inception.
LifeFlight Commercial Chief Operating Officer Timothy McGuire, who accepted the award at the event, said the third consecutive win was a proud moment for the organisation.
