Just Do GOOD Entertainment has announced the launch of Air Angels: Flight Helene, a powerful two-episode series honoring everyday heroes who sprang into action during Hurricane Helene.
Wilmington Health physician Dr. Craig McCotter is featured in the episodes, because of his participation in the voluntary civilian missions to help those stranded by the catastrophic storm.
Air Angels tells the inspiring stories of individuals who selflessly used their own aircraft, vehicles, time, and resources to rescue and support strangers in desperate need during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina.
These “Air Angels” exemplify the spirit of doing good without expectation of recognition or reward. Dr. McCotter, also a helicopter owner and pilot, used his own Robinson Helicopter R44 Clipper II to get to those cut-off areas.
Air Angels: Flight Helene launched in early June on UP Faith and Family (part of UP TV) and will be seen on broadcast television beginning with WWAY-ABC in Wilmington, North Carolina this Fall.
