TV Crews and Media personnel and local dignitaries were on location at the Helispec facility in Brantley Alabama today as Col Enderle Commander Aviation Center Logistics Command. US Army Ft Rucker, Alabama arrived with a crew of Army pilots and officials from Army Fleet Support Services to pick up the 7th of 7 CH47 Aircraft. Col Enderle arrived in a UH60 Black Hawk that was painted at the Helispec facility a short while ago.

Originally Helispec had been awarded a contract to paint 5 CH 47 Chinook aircraft within a time frame of Dec 7th to Jan 7th. Helispec exceeded the expectations of the US Army and the original contract was increased by two more aircraft. Helispec, due to the expert work force they have employed, were able to paint the additional 2 aircraft and still complete the aircraft ahead of the original deadline by two days. In addition to the above aircraft Helispec also painted a UH60 Black Hawk and a UH1 Huey aircraft within that time frame.

The owners of Helispec, Sandi Smith, Gregg Holt and Mark Topping would like to thank their employees for their hard work and dedication in addition to thanking them for the quality work that they produce. “We have a great crew here at Helispec and we appreciate each and everyone of them” said Gregg Holt President.
