A prominent rotorcraft parts provider is powering into the New Year with big news and an even bigger inventory of spares.
Heli-Mart Inc. has purchased nine MD 520Ns and one 300C that had been operated by the Phoenix, Arizona, Police Department. A massive inventory of spare parts and engines worth nearly $1.5 million was part of the blockbuster deal. Aircraft and spare parts are available for purchase from Heli-Mart.
Aside from the original equipment manufacturer, Heli-Mart has the world’s largest inventory of spare parts for MD helicopters. Heli-Mart also stocks a range of parts for other aircraft, including Agusta, Bell, and Eurocopter, to name a few.
“We expect news of our expanded inventory will be very well received by MD 500 and MD 520N operators around the world,” said Heli-Mart President Don Nichols. “They rely on us to get them the parts they need, when they need them, and this acquisition further enhances our position as the ‘go-to guys’ for helicopter spares.”
Nichols invites airborne law enforcers and others who may be interested in the former Phoenix Police Department aircraft, or who would like to discuss their parts requirements, to call or schedule a meeting with company representatives at the upcoming Heli-Expo convention (Exhibit 1431) in Dallas, Texas, next month.
Heli-Mart will display a wide range of helicopter accessory and ground support equipment, although its after market spare parts – including many hard-to-find items – will be the focus of the company’s Heli-Expo exhibit. California Aero Components, a subsidiary of Heli-Mart, will display examples of its overhaul and repair work of transmissions and other helicopter components.
Since 1973, Heli-Mart has reliably distributed new and serviceable helicopter parts, accessories, and components worldwide, often with same-day service. Heli-Mart also offers parts repair and overhaul services.
