Time is running out. This is a reminder for members and industry professionals who missed the announcement on September 29, which extended the “Salute to Excellence” nomination deadline. Members and nonmembers are encouraged to submit their nomination and signed acknowledgement forms as soon as possible. The deadline is Wednesday, November 22, 2006!
Each year HAI recognizes individuals and organizations that have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the international helicopter community. The “Salute to Excellence” awards consist of 13 prestigious awards acknowledging exceptional merit in their respective categories. The winners will receive their awards at the annual “Salute to Excellence” awards banquet, which will be held on Friday, March 2, 2007, during HELI-EXPO 2007, in Orlando, Florida. Acknowledging deserving individuals or organizations encourages the continued attainment of the highest standards of professionalism in our industry.
Nomination forms are available to download at www.rotor.com. They may be submitted through the Web site, or mailed to Helicopter Association International, 1635 Prince Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314-2818, or faxed to 703-683-4745. Remember to include supporting documents with your nomination. Please do not send electronic materials, such as videotapes, DVDs, or CD-ROMs.
Please note the requirement that all nominees sign the form, acknowledging they are aware of their nomination and will forward biographical information, pictures, and videos to HAI, if selected as a winner. All winners must be present to accept their award, or designate someone to accept it on their behalf.
All nominations for the 2006 awards must be received by Wednesday, November 22, 2006. But don’t wait until the last minute. HAI encourages you to submit your nominations today.
