Dallas Airmotive has promoted Jim Blasingame to the position of Senior Director of Sales. He had been serving as Director of Sales for Honeywell Programs. In his enhanced role, Blasingame will be responsible for all North American sales activity for Honeywell TFE731 and APU, Rolls-Royce Spey and Tay, and Pratt & Whitney Canada PW300 engines.
“By combining these programs under one director, we feel they will benefit from Jim’s tremendous energy and leadership skills,” commented Dallas Airmotive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Dennis J. DiMarco. “Jim has experience with all of these programs and brings with him a wealth of knowledge about the technical nature of these products and the customers who operate them.”
Blasingame joined the company in 1984 at the former Airwork company in Millville, New Jersey (later acquired by Dallas Airmotive). While there he worked in program management for TFE731 and Pratt & Whitney Canada engines. In 1995, Blasingame moved to Dallas where he took on positions of increasing responsibility in program management and customer service for Dallas Airmotive’s Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney Canada programs. He was appointed Director of Sales for Honeywell Programs in June, 2002. Under Blasingame’s guidance, the company’s TFE731 program for major and heavy repair more than doubled between 2002 and 2005.
