STRATUS Helicopters, the premier Helicopter Services and Training Provider in South Western Ohio has announced the availability of a complete Instrument Training Program for those seeking a Helicopter Instrument Rating. Utilizing one of their Robinson R44’s and modern avionics powered by Garmin®, STRATUS offers a complete Instrument Training Package that can be completed in as little as three weeks from start to finish for full time students.

We are proud to offer such a program for professional helicopters pilots” said Chuck Dedden, President of STRATUS Helicopters. “The luxury of being based at a Class D airport and Cincinnati’s Class B airspace enables our instrument students to get excellent opportunities and become proficient in all instrument approaches” said Dedden. STRATUS has contracted with the industry recognized Eagle Eye Solutions, LLC for developing second to none Instrument Ground Training and Courseware Programs in addition to their recent acquisition of an R44 Simulator from Pre-Sim Solutions, a Northern Kentucky based company providing Commercial Simulation Services. “We have created a first class Instrument Training opportunity for those seeking first class instruction” said Dedden.
