AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, is pleased to announce that the Norwegian helicopter and fixed wing operator Lufttransport accepted delivery of a Bell/Agusta Aerospace Company AB139 helicopter. Configured in a twelve passenger offshore aircraft it will be used for passenger transport operations in Northern Norway.

Angelo Raimondi, AgustaWestland’s Head of Civil Sales Europe, said at the ceremony “This AB139 is the first to be delivered for scheduled passenger transport operations and the first to start operations in Northern Europe. We are sure Lufttransport and its passengers will be delighted with the AB139, which brings new levels of safety, comfort and performance to the medium twin helicopter market.”
