MHM Publishing is delighted to announce that eVTOL.com, the eVTOL industry’s leading news source, is now part of the world’s most popular vertical-lift news website — verticalmag.com.

By combining eVTOL.com and verticalmag.com, MHM Publishing will bring readers the most complete picture of the vertical-lift world.

The move creates a handy one-stop source for all vertical-lift news, from sector-by-sector coverage of the traditional helicopter industry, to the emerging and transformative technology of the eVTOL world.

“We’re really excited to officially make eVTOL.com part of verticalmag.com, bringing our readers the most complete picture of the vertical-lift world,” said Mike Reyno, Group Publisher of MHM Publishing. “The move will benefit both platforms, with Vertical’s traditional rotary-wing audience gaining direct access to the expertise of eVTOL.com, while the latter will gain additional reporting resources from Vertical.”

Launched in 2019, eVTOL.com quickly established itself as the leading source of news on the exciting and rapidly-developing eVTOL and urban air mobility markets.

Over the following three years, it has provided comprehensive coverage of the sector, including news from aircraft developers, suppliers, regulators, urban planners, and investors. In addition to covering breaking stories, it provides commentary and analysis on the evolving eVTOL landscape.

While eVTOL.com will have a new home within verticalmag.com, its readers will continue to find the same level of industry-leading coverage, presented with a new design optimized for online reading. All stories published on eVTOL.com over the past three years will still be accessible.

Jen Nevans, Managing Editor of eVTOL.com, will continue to lead reporting of the sector — as well as cover stories for Vertical — in her new role as Managing Editor of verticalmag.com. Industry coverage will also continue to be provided by eVTOL.com’s established contributors, as well as by the vertical-lift experts at verticalmag.com.

The incorporation of eVTOL.com is part of a wider redesign of verticalmag.com, which will go live on Sept. 9.

Vertical’s reporting ranks were boosted earlier this year with the arrival of experienced aviation journalist and photographer Glenn Sands, who has taken on the role of Managing Editor of Vertical Valor Magazine and Senior Online Correspondent.

“Glenn joins us with a wealth of experience as a writer, photographer and editor specializing in the aerospace and defense sectors,” Reyno said. “We are excited to have him on the team, and for our readers to benefit from his extensive knowledge of the industry.”

Sands is based in the U.K., but will be providing coverage of industry news around the world. He has written for and edited a range of publications over the years, including Aeroplane Monthly, Jets, Air Forces Monthly, and Aircraft Illustrated.

Most recently, Sands served as Editor of Low-Fare and Regional Airlines Magazine and Rotorhub.
