HeliSpeed Academy, based in Blackpool, holds both a U.K. & EASA ATO & ISO 9011 approval and is using a R44 NVIS compatible single engine helicopter to support NVIS & NVG training. The Academy has also ordered for January 2023 delivery, an NVIS compatible Bell 429 simulator which will allow HeliSpeed Academy to support the two tier NVIS training recommended under EASA. Using the R44 and B429 simulator will cost effectively address all the training requirements needed to support the EASA training schedule.”
