Job Requirements
Current FAA A&P License with a minimum of 24 months maintaining H-60 helicopters as a Licensed A&P Mechanic. Experience performing Phase, Scheduled, Unscheduled, Flight Line and Field Maintenance. Thorough working knowledge of H-60 systems Must be proficient with the use of tooling and equipment required for performing maintenance tasks on the H-60 platform Must have a clean driving record and be able to obtain a Class A CDL Hazmat at company expense if required. Pass a Pre-Employment drug test as well as random testing Self-Motivated Leader with detail-oriented qualities Lifting capability of up to 75lbs, bend, stoop, squat, walk, stand, kneel, crunch, crawl, and reach as required Must be willing to work overtime as maintenance and schedule dictates Must be able to work in harsh environments and climates Must be able to work well with fellow maintainers, pilots, office personnel and management Compensation: 2 Week on 2 Week of rotation +/- 2 days is typical year round Extensive overtime available/required during Fire Season Medical and Dental Benefits for employee and family Local membership to Bozeman Fitness Facility and Hot Springs Company credit cards for expenses Pay DOE
Job Description
Central Copters Inc. is an FAA approved Air Carrier (FAR Part 135), Certified External Load Operator (FAR Part 133), and contracted with the USFS for Wildland Fire Fighting Suppression.
We are accepting resumes from experienced individuals for a full-time, long term position as a UH-60 Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic.
Successful applicants will be expected to travel and maintain our fleet of aircraft in the field during fire season and work in our well-equipped hangar during the off-season. Relocation is not required.
A&P Mechanic duties will include but not be limited to:
Service, inspect and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Install Mechanical Modifications as required
Maintain Aircraft Fire Suppression equipment
Maintain GSE Equipment
