Structures Mechanic – Heavy-Lift Helicopters

Structures Mechanic responsible for repair and build-up/refurbishment of heavy-lift helicopters used for firefighting, infrastructure operations, and other missions.This starts as a contract position intended for permanent hire, although long-term contracting is an optionDaily Responsibilities:Consult blueprints for the relevant install or repairSelect tooling from tool crib or personal toolboxPerform repairs by removing, inspecting, troubleshooting, installing, bending metal, riveting, building assemblies, using various fastenersDocument repairsPerform overhaul or rebuild of large helicopter structuresOccasional travel as needed for field repairsQualifications:5+ years of aircraft structures repair experienceSikorsky helicopter repair experience preferredMust be able to read blueprints and shop drawingsA P preferred but not requiredQualified candidates are encouraged to apply!
