Job Requirements
Background in Aviation preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team setting, and accurately under pressure Detail orientated Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) preferred Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 70 pounds. Forklift experience a plus HAZMAT shipping certification required. Job Description
Reports To: Director of Maintenance
Helimax Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Shipping/Receiving/Inventory and Tool Control Clerk
to join the team. The successful candidate is responsible for all incoming and outgoing materials as well as documentation and inventory of all materials. Additionally, he/she would be responsible for the issuance and retrieval of special tools and equipment.
Essential Duties Include:
Shipping
Maintain International and Domestic Shipping
Create documents and source correct export information
Process and track Fed Ex and UPS shipments, airline freight, and AOG shipping
Counter-to-counter Hazmat shipping ndash; IATA Certified
Receiving
Receive incoming products and materials
Create in-house tags
Work with the receiving inspector to confirm parts are certified and traceable
Inventory Control
Prepare bin boxes, label and put them away in the proper sequence
Maintain computer inventory
General housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of inventory areas
Purchasing
Assist with purchasing consumable/rotatable parts and equipment
Familiar with parts sourcing database services
Tool Control
Assist in maintaining shop tools, equipment, and tooling storage devices
Assist in issuing and retrieving shop tools and equipment
