Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 12 months of experience working in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related environment. Ability to pass a drug screening and obtain a DOT physical. Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles as required. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience using inventory management and shipping software. Forklift operation experience (certification a plus). Job Description
Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Helicopter Transport Services, LLC (HTS) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support aircraft maintenance and operational activities. This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, handling, documentation, and shipment of aircraft parts, components, and materials in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify incoming parts, materials, and quantities against supporting documentation including bills of lading, purchase orders, invoices, and material tracking records.
Accurately enter received items into the inventory management software system.
Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies; document issues, reject damaged items, and coordinate with vendors to resolve shortages or damage claims.
Determine the safest, most efficient, and cost-effective methods for shipping aircraft components and materials.
Maintain familiarity with shipping procedures, routes, carriers, and freight rates.
Prepare and assemble shipping cartons, crates, labels, and packing materials as required.
Process outbound shipments using shipping software and ensure all packages are properly marked and documented.
Ensure compliance with applicable shipping regulations and requirements, including Hazardous Materials (Haz-Mat) handling and documentation.
Track all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate records.
Maintain inventory and oversight of shipping supplies and materials.
Route received parts and materials to the appropriate departments to support maintenance and operational schedules.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the organization’s helicopter operations
