Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), and safety management systems. Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. Proficiency with data management systems and document control processes. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems. Previous experience in a regulatory compliance or audit-focused role. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and operational procedures. Job Description
HeliQwest International is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Technical Records Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance Department. This hybrid role combines responsibilities from both quality assurance support and technical records auditing. The ideal candidate will ensure our maintenance records and quality systems meet regulatory compliance, assist with audits, manage training records, and coordinate data entry for multiple operational systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Records Duties:
Audit inspection and maintenance technical entries for compliance with FAR and CAR regulations.
Maintain and update aircraft technical records and the computerized maintenance tracking system.
Identify deficiencies in maintenance documentation and generate audit finding reports with corrective suggestions.
Support the Director of Maintenance and Quality Manager in tracking component timesand limits.
Archive technical documents for fast and reliable access.
Coordinate journey logs, work orders, and other documents for digital entry.
Quality Assurance Support Duties:
Maintain calibration records/databases in line with FAA, TCCA, and internal requirements.
Maintain vendor audit records.
Assist in internal and external audits and help prepare responses and corrective actions.
Update and manage quality/maintenance forms and oversee the technical publications library.
