Job Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent (required). Possess an FAA Mechanics Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A P) ratings with no violations in the past five years (required). Five (5) years experience in aircraft maintenance and alteration of Rotorcraft. Possess a working knowledge of the FAA regulations and, in particular, CFR Part (s) 21, 43, 91, 145 and 135 Familiar with processes and procedures detailed in the FAA-accepted Certified Repair Station Manual (s). Experience with the methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used for aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, and alterations. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, aircraft diagrams, work cards and engineering instructions. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills; strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Must be a self-starter and be able to work without supervision. Maintains effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures. Possess a strong sense of integrity and ethics. Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Able to work on maintenance stands extending to 25 feet. Able to work in confined spaces. Ability to move and lift 50 pounds during aircraft and component maintenance Able to work in a high-noise environment (jet engines, air tools, etc.) Able to work around fumes and odors. Valid driverlsquo;s license Previous relevant field experience with Agusta Westland AW-109, AW-119, AW-139, Bell 206, 222, 230, 430, 212, 412, and Eurocopter series helicopters is a plus Previous relevant experience with the Rolls Royce and Pratt-Whitney turbine engines OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates must pass a standard drug urinalysis test. Must provide tools, except those specifically required for individual models of aircraft to be maintained.

Job Description

Perform in-process and final inspections of aircraft systems and components to determine the conformity of the aircraft to approved data and airworthiness. Perform installation inspections of components, structures, wiring, and other aircraft-associated items for conformity to engineering and other approved data and report to the Director of Quality.
Role and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the inspection process and approving item(s) prior to delivery and acceptance by Part 21 145 customers.
Ensures that the proper inspection records, work cards, work orders, and forms used under our Repair Station Manual and as per customer requirements are kept up to date at all times and are properly executed for each item.
Perform conformity inspection of components, major assemblies, sub-assemblies, or parts during manufacturing, modifications, and installations to determine safety or conformance to standards and requirements.
Perform First Article Inspection on components or assemblies as required.
Interpret and check hard copy and electronic prints, engineering change orders, governmental regulatory procedures, and specifications.
Determine the extent of work to be performed where no specifications, regulations, or written standards are available.
Is familiar with FAR Part 145, 135, 91, 65, and 21 and related A/Cs
Perform the return to service process and ensure assigned aircraft or components meet all airworthiness requirements prior to return to service.
Responsible for providing airworthiness release of an aircraft during an off-site event.
Prepare necessary aircraft-related FAA, customer, or company documents.
Accurately enter electronic data related to aircraft production, completion, and installation operations.
Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned as assigned.
