Apollo MedFlight, a leader in medical aviation transport, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Services Manager to oversee our maintenance operations at base locations in Houston and San Antonio. As the Maintenance Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and readiness of our fleet. You will be the linchpin in managing our maintenance teams across multiple bases, coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and ensuring all operations align with FAA regulations and company standards.

A Day in the Life:

Responsible for ensuring that all company employees make safety the number one priority in all activities.
Supervises the Aviation Maintenance Technicians assigned to operational area.
Participates as a member of Apollorsquo;s management team to promote a safe successful operation.
Responsible for daily operations and performance of all area maintenance services. The MSM functions as a leader for the maintenance team in his or her area and is responsible for carrying out the mission, goals, and objectives of the area.
Ensures the Maintenance Operations Director is notified in the event of encounters with the FAA such as ramp checks; base visits, or requests to contact ATC. Ensures all maintenance publications and company manuals are current and available to maintenance personnel.
Ensures that all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable CFRs and company policies and procedures.
Forwards Mechanical Interruption Summary (MIS) 135.417 reports to the Maintenance Operations Director for review.
Responsible for correcting compliance or safety issues when directed by the Director of Maintenance or Maintenance Operations Director.
Responsible for thorough knowledge of this General Maintenance Manual, Apollo policies and procedures, as well as meeting operational goals and objectives.
Schedulersquo;s aircraft maintenance and provides Maintenance Operations Director with the current aircraft status and forecast down times to facilitate maintenance scheduling.
Troubleshoots and provides over-the-phone problem solving to outlying AMTs.
Actively participates in the companyrsquo;s Safety System and is familiar with the Safety policies, processes, and procedures.
Deep understanding of Computer skills, including typing, scanning, printing, file management, and Microsoft office.
Read and understand company policy, applicable CFRrsquo;s and accreditation policies.
Provide regulatory guidance to AMTrsquo;s.
Ability to read and interpret Aircraft manufacturers 3rd party (STC/337) maintenance instructions, drawings, blueprints, and instructions.
Willing to travel and assist in their operational arearsquo;s maintenance events.
Be available by phone to assist your team, utilizing clear communication and guidance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
