Experienced T53 A&P Technician with Ozark Aeroworks

Reporting to the Director of Engine Operations, this role is responsible for the repair and overhaul of T53 turbine engines and accessories. The A&P Technician must be experienced in repair, testing, and troubleshooting issues related to aircraft turbine engines. The A&P Technician should be a self-starter, with an ability to re-prioritize tasks as workflows change due to customer demands.

Activities

  • Perform maintenance tasks on turbine engines and accessories in accordance with current technical data for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other FAA approved data
  • Utilize specialized tooling and equipment to disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble, and test aircraft turbine engines and accessories
  • Document all maintenance performed utilizing OAW designed maintenance travelers and in accordance with appropriate technical data
  • Coordinate with multiple levels of supervision to determine priorities, and task schedules, based on customer demands.
  • Travel for field service maintenance may be required on occasion
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random selection tests throughout employment
  • Three plus years’ experience in T53 turbine engine maintenance
  • Ability to read and understand technical data and manuals
  • Strong time management and prioritizing skills
  • Basic to advanced understanding of shop protocol
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
