Helius, LLC operates a fleet of MD600N, 530F, Bell 407, and UH-1 helicopters performing power line utility construction / maintenance under 14 CFR Parts 133, 135, 137. We are currently seeking a Director of Maintenance in support our fleet in Northern CA. The DOM is responsible for the airworthiness of company aircraft and the management of maintenance personnel.
Responsibilities include:
Management of the aircraft inspection program in an efficient and satisfactory manner, including personnel, scheduling and production.
Ensure that all maintenance technicians will be adequately qualified prior to assigning them to any maintenance function.
Making available to all departments the necessary maintenance manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and any other required technical data.
Maintains responsibility for all the necessary work recorded and filed by certified mechanics for the operation.
Responsible for initiating requisitions for stock and material as required. Orders anticipated parts, lubricants, etc., in sufficient quantity to ensure no aircraft down time for these items.
Determines personnel requirements based on present and projected workloads.
