2000 hours PIC in helicopters. Twin Engine Time in a helicopter. (preferably in Sikorsky S76) Experience in EC-130 or AS-350 preferred. Instrument Rating. Experience in the LA Basin Airspace. Second Class Medical (First Class Preferred) A proven record of Safety and Professionalism.
Maverick Helicopters is seeking a full time charter pilot position at our new base in Long Beach California, flying the S76 and EC-130. This position is for flights to Catalina, custom charter, oil and gas support and aerial tours throughout Southern California. All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. , must have a clean drug and alcohol history, as well as pass and adhere to our drug and alcohol program. The successful candidate must live within forty-five minutes of Long Beach Airport.
Maverick Helicopters is the largest civilian operator of the EC130 in the world with bases in Nevada, Arizona, Maui, and California. Prospective pilots must be team players with sound judgment and the ability to make skilled, active interpretations and evaluations of observations, communications and information to insure the continued safe operation of our flight department. Potential candidates must also have a keen understanding of, and the capacity to serve our guests in the most customer service oriented manner that is safely possible.
