Job Description
Jerry Trimble Helicopters operates a Part 61 flight school offering fixed and rotor-wing flight training. We maintain a fleet of sixteen helicopters and five fixed-wing aircraft. In addition to the flight school, JTH holds 133 and 135 certificates and offers maintenance services to the general public with an emphasis on Robinson Helicopters.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals
Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain complete functioning equipment according to technical data provided by the customer
Properly complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with FAA requirements
Disclosure:
Duties are performed in either indoor or outdoor environments. The mechanic may be exposed to routine office noises, moderate electrical or mechanical hazards, and frequent exposure to an aircraft hangar environment where the mechanic may be exposed to loud aircraft noise, fumes, gases, odors, dust particles, and mechanical/electrical and chemical hazards.
