AME-S Licensed or – Apprentice Structures (AME-S) at Avialta Helicopter Maintenance Ltd.

Avialta Helicopter Maintenance Ltd. is currently looking for a full-time, licensed AME-S or AME-S Apprentice specializing in Structures to join our Helicopter Maintenance team.  The AME-S or apprentice will be providing structural inspections, repairs and maintenance to helicopters as well as supporting the line maintenance team as required.   Our hangar is located at Villeneuve Airport just minutes North of Edmonton, AB.

Job Description:

  • Assist and follow direction from the Production Manager and Senior AME (S) to service, examine, inspect, and repair of aircraft and components.
  • Carry out duties according to the appropriate maintenance policy manual and ensure conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer-Structures program from a recognized Canadian institute.
  • Possess a valid AME-S license (if applying for the licensed AME-S opportunity);
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license and reliable vehicle;
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
  • Must be attentive to detail and demonstrate professional pride in ensuring the end product meets or exceeds Transport Canada’s/Manufacturer’s criteria;
  • Experience working on helicopters an asset;
  • Have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment;
  • Ability to be productive and multi-task in a demanding work environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills;
