Job Requirements

Must be familiar with using test equipment for track and balance. Interpreting Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for application on helicopters. Familiar with using measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, tensiometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3+ yearsrsquo; experience as a helicopter mechanic, with at least 2 years on designated helicopters (Airbus ndash; AS350, EC130, EC135, EC145, BK117; Agusta ndash;109, 119, 139, 169; Bell ndash; 206, 407, 429, 412; MD ndash; 500). Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Familiarity with aviation maintenance manuals Must have your own tools Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Airframe Powerplant license. REQUIRED Inspection and Authorization License. PREFERRED Any OEM school training within the past 4 years. Experience working on civilian, commercial and military helicopter. Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

Job Description

Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or applicable regulatory body.
Perform routine maintenance checks and perform diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions.
Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
Keeping detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft in accordance with the repair station guidelines.
Inventory aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment, and keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and other maintenance operations.
Complete tasks within allotted time frames and to FAA (or equivalent) and company standards
Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating smoothly.
