Bond Offshore Helicopters, one of the operators that suspended all flight operations using the Eurocopter EC225 following the ditching of a CHC-operated Super Puma in the North Sea, will return to service six of their nine Super Pumas by Thursday.
Bond reported that Eurocopter has dispatched four technicians and four unaffected rotors shafts to Aberdeen. These rotor shafts are currently being installed into the gearboxes of the grounded AS332L2. Bond confirmed three of its aircraft are now back in operation and said engineers continue work on the other L2 aircraft.
